inspection of financial transactions. The most adequate solution was found in the software
S/Monitoring® of Cellent AG, based in Stuttgart. S/Monitoring® is based on a J2EE architecture
model using standards like EJB, JNDI, JMS and JDO. In order to meet requirements of performance and
scalability, Signsoft intelliBO has been employed as persistence layer.

Development of a recruitment solution for German Telecom
As a leading company in telecommunications, German telecom instructed T-Systems to develop an
international recruitment solution. Due to complex features, the database is not accessed directly.
JDO (Java Data Objects) with Signsoft intelliBO has been choosen since a lightweight mapping of
Java Objects to relational data is available.

Vertical integration of a production system with SAP WAS and Signsoft intelliBO
In 2004 TRW Airbag Systems instructed znt Richter to realise a solution in SAP R/3 for the
integration of 30 production lines for inflators on several sites. The solution has been
implemented according to the Enterprise Service Architecture based on SAP NetWeaver. For the
realisation of persistence JDO (Java Data Objects) has been choosen since a lightweight mapping of
Java Objects to relational data is available.
